2011 VISF HIGHLIGHTS AND EVENTS

Pre Festival launch gala: Captain's Reception, Draw, and Grouping.
World Cup-style 7v7 multi ethnic, national, and international soccer tournament. 48 plus teams will be participating under the banner of their nationality.
Exciting round robin soccer action with women, men's and coed divisions
Food, beer and wine gardens complete with house DJ.
The festival site will be equipped with wide-screen tournaments to broadcast FIFA 2011 Women World Cup and inspiring soccer documentaries
Non alcoholic family and Kid's zone offering face painting and games.
An exciting opening, closing, and award ceremonies
On site community breakfast hosted by VIPS and dignitaries. Past events were hosted by the Vancouver Mayor, Minster of Multiculturalism, Federal minister of Sports, and media and sports celebrities.
Thousands of dollars worth of prizes will be won throughout the weekend!
